Plum hue with aromas of lovely finessed bouquet of forest floor, sweet cherry, rustic pie cherry, a touch of grapefruit, and ash.
Palate--fully integrated, rich back bone of cherry fruit with mid-palate of slightly bitter tart pie cherries and an earthy rustic finish.
This 6 year old Tuscan is drinking great right now and should be enjoyed for another couples years but it is truly peak at the moment. I paid $13 for this markdown at $27 and I will grab more if I get the chance so raise a glass!
