*Dark plum hue with room wafting aromas of luscious ripe berries with a distinct, rustic, herbal hint at the rim with nice minty nuances deeper in the glass.
Palate--Such a different expression of the grape, with tasty dark berries and that mint beam in the mid palate, a fleeting finis h it seems but then jumps back in with a surprise finish.
The grapes come from Mendoz Argentina known more profoundly for their signature grape Malbec of which this reminds me and yet not. *All of the above is right on opening so I will repost after it has time to breath. Right now I really like this I tend to dislike "cheap cabs." But winemaker Pablo Sanchez has something nice going on here.
I do't remember what I paid for this but I believe it was around $10 and I grab more if I have the chance. I'm raising a glass and so should you!
